The National Committee for employer support of the Guard and Reserve recognized Dr. Bazylewicz recently for his support of the Guard and Reserve while Maureen McCarthy, NP (Family Nurse Practitioner at FMA/Manchester) was in Baghdad. Maureen was in Baghdad from May to October and was the commander of the Medical Support Squadron. Summary
Cathy Franklin joined Family Medical Associates in April 2009. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. Cathy has enjoyed her many different roles in her nearly 30 year nursing career which have included a specialty clinical practice in a Women's Health Breast Center, faculty in the nursing program at North Shore Community College, nurse manager on a cardiac interventional inpatient unit at Boston teaching hospital, and staff nurse in north shore and Boston emergency departments. Her clinical interests include health promotion, breast cancer screening, and adoption.

Cathy is a hotline volunteer at HAWC in Salem (Healing Abuse, Working for Change) and a religious education teacher at her local church parish. Cathy lives locally with her husband and teenage daughter, son, and 11 year old miniature schnauzer. She enjoys bicycling, gardening, travel, and reading a good book.
