Maureen was in Baghdad from May to October and was the commander of the Medical Support Squadron. Summary: Maureen McCarthy is a native Bostonian. She brings 25 years experience in emergency nursing and as a Family Nurse Practitioner to Family Medicine Associates. She is a graduate of Quincy City Hospital nursing program, holds a Bachelor of Science from UMass/Boston and a Masters of Science in Family and Community Health from Umass/Lowell. She is ANCC Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, she serves as Medical Group Commander at Otis Air National Guard Base, Cape Cod.
