Emergencies & After Hours Coverage

In case of an emergency after hours, a family physician is always available on call. Most times you can call our usual office phone numbers and our answering service will assist you in contacting the on-call physician. However, between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am please contact the Beverly Hospital operator at 978-922-3000, ext. 0, and ask to speak to the doctor covering for your usual family physician.

When we are on call weekends and most holidays we staff our offices in the morning in order to be available, by appointment, for "urgent" medical needs. Therefore, if you are not sure whether or not you should go to the emergency room, please call the office; we may by able to save you any unnecessary and costly emergency room visits.
